We’ll have hands-on workshops\, opportunities for relaxation and healing\, fun games and activities for kids and grown-ups\, and the live music will be original\, progressive\, and unique–Filastine\, Barcelona based artist will bring his beautiful and gritty electronic dance music\, Xerephine Musica (http://xerephinemusic.com/) from UK/Boulder will captivate you with her beautiful\, ethereal voice and array of styles from upbeat ambient dance to entrancing meditative soundscapes. David Alderdice\, a board member of The Learning Council and the director of the World Music Series\, has created an offering to go alongside the music concerts at the Blue Sage that will see our local students being educated on world music by the musicians that are visiting the area fromall across the globe. This series of offerings is called Music in the Schools. \n\nAhead of the concert tomorrow night at the Blue Sage\, David\, Tomchess\, and Charlie Parker Mertens traveled to Paonia Middle School today to teach the students about world music and instruments. DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\nFashionable Youth Arise \nSunday\, September 27\,\n2:00 pm at the Paradise Theater \nThe Unicorn Arts Collective presents Animals Arise\, Out of the Cage and into the Wild. Happening during Harvest Festival this year\, this show will be a menagerie of performances and fashion created by the children of the North Fork Valley. The show\, produced by the team that brought the wildly successful fashion and design show Elemental Rising to the Paradise Theater in April of this year\, is sure to be an over the top celebration of art and performance. Children will have several opportunities to work with local designers in camps at the Blue Sage Center for the Arts\, as well as weekend workshops leading up to the show. They will be creating looks that are inspired by animals and the jungle environment. Choreographers Carolyn Yates and Brooke Warren will team up again to bring beautifully inspired movement to the young performers. Tickets will be on sale at the Paradise\, Back Country Bistro and online at Brown Paper Tickets.
