Saturday and Sunday October 3 and 4, come relax after a long summer, and share in a celebration of local food, art, music, and learning in an old apple orchard down in Pumpkin Hollow on the river in Paonia, Colorado. We want to help cultivate strong community coherence by camping out together, sharing practical knowledge, taking time to dance and play, and opening our hearts to new friends and new ideas. We’ll have hands-on workshops, opportunities for relaxation and healing, fun games and activities for kids and grown-ups, and the live music will be original, progressive, and unique–Filastine, Barcelona based artist will bring his beautiful and gritty electronic dance music, Xerephine Musica (http://xerephinemusic.com/) from UK/Boulder will captivate you with her beautiful, ethereal voice and array of styles from upbeat ambient dance to entrancing meditative soundscapes. Copyleft, (https://vimeo.com/133726013) from Denver will get you dancing with their synth-heavy beats and Cigarettes After Sex, (https://cigarettesaftersex.bandcamp.com/) from Brooklyn, NY will have you humming along with their hauntingly beautiful and catchy songs. Others are confirming and will soon be announced, and Sunday will feature a community jam in which everyone (who wants to) will be invited to improvise on the stage.  Building on the success of Cohere 2013 in Carbondale, we’re exited about our magical setting in Pumpkin Hollow, and expect a beautiful, vibrant, interesting mix of people, young and old.
