Embodying Rhythm Marimba Ensemble in Grand Junction, CO

The Embodying Rhythm Marimba Ensemble plays soulful, uplifting, groovy, polyphonic music. This fun eight-piece ensemble is led by FEAST drummer, David Alderdice, who composes and arranges for the ensemble. Besides original compositions, they play their renditions of traditional tunes from Africa, Europe, and the Americas, along with a sprinkle of choice modern tunes. At the ensemble’s foundation is a 4 & a 1/2 octave set of beautiful wooden marimbas (including a really big bass marimba), featuring some woodwinds, brass, percussion, and a little bit of singing for a broad and engaging musical experience. It’s sure to be a delightful musical program for the whole family, so bring a friend.
