VIOLA AND PERCUSSION: EXPLORING ETHNIC FOLK MUSIC WITH A CLASSICAL TWIST. Violist Stephanie Mientka and percussionist David Alderdice will present a unique evening of music utilizing the exotic harmonies, rhythms, and improvisational techniques of folk music from around the world. Featured composers are Kenji Bunch, Bach, Hungarian Bela Bartok, and Spaniard Manuel de Falla.
