MUSIC IN THE SCHOOLS FOR OUR LOCAL CHILDREN
In conjunction with Embodying Rhythm and the Blue Sage, The Learning Council is supporting the World Music Series starting Oct 3rd at The Blue Sage. David Alderdice, a board member of The Learning Council and the director of the World Music Series, has created an offering to go alongside the music concerts at the Blue Sage that will see our local students being educated on world music by the musicians that are visiting the area fromall across the globe. This series of offerings is called Music in the Schools.
Ahead of the concert tomorrow night at the Blue Sage, David, Tomchess, and Charlie Parker Mertens traveled to Paonia Middle School today to teach the students about world music and instruments. To learn more about World Music visit http://www.bluesage.org/…/world-music-musical-journeys-of-…/
