Dance Concert: Saturday, 18 January, 2020, 7:30pm. online tickets
Feel free to come ready to move and groove on the dance floor to the fun, groovy, multi-dimensional, polyphonic, poly-rhythmic music of this interesting and funky 8-piece marimba ensemble, who will be playing some new original material, some fun arrangements of modern dance songs, as well as some traditional groove-based music from around the world. The marimba ensemble will be joined by the sounds of mandolin, trumpet, drumset, cajon, melodica, steelpan, clarinet, flute, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, baritone horn, voices, and assorted percussion.
Matinee Concert For Kids: Saturday, 18 January, 2020, 1:00pm. Free.
Marimba Music Workshop: Sunday, January 19, 10:30am – 12noon. $25
