Friday Morning Movement Practice with Arlyn

Somatic dance is about the felt experience of the mover, it’s not about looking any particular way. And while there is time and invitation to move as you would like to, there’s a map that we follow and invitations to deeper inquiry that are offered gently by the facilitator throughout the movement practice. It’s not a partner dance and there are no dance moves taught; the music and facilitation evokes different styles of movement that look different in each body. I call it Movement as Medicine.
