Listening Concert:
Friday, 17 January, 2020, 7:30pm. online tickets
From the comfort of your seat, you will be taken on a listening journey through a wide spectrum of fun, interesting, groovy, multi-dimensional and polyphonic music from around the world. Experience a relaxing and rejuvenating journey for the ears and soul. The 8-piece marimba ensemble will play original selections as well as tastes of Africa, South America, and Eurasia. Along with the family of marimbas, the ensemble will also feature the sounds of mandolin, trumpet, flute, melodica, drumset, cajon, steelpan, clarinet, alto saxophone, baritone horn, bass clarinet, voice, and other assorted percussion.
