Dear Ones,
January was a busy month for us with our marimba ensemble classes, rehearsal for different shows, David’s private teaching, the little one learning lots of new words, and some great concerts. Thanks so much for being a part of it and being on this journey with us by participating in classes, in projects, in the audience, and by keeping up with our adventures through the newsletter.
We are very much looking forward to the next installment of the Word Music Concert Series at the Blue Sage in Paonia, it is on February 6th. A World Music Salon with short performances from a select group of Western Slope musicians sharing their individual world music studies including Andy Skellenger – Tabla & Tabla Tarang, Javier de los Santos – Spanish & Mexican Guitar, Beth Quist – Hammered Dulcimer and Voice, Eric Baumheier and Aja McAdams – M’bira, Percussion & Voice, James Hoskins – cello, David & Arlyn Alderdice – Frame Drums & Shakers. Please support local live world music and bring a friend to the concert. Tickets.
Many Blessings,
Arlyn and David
