The Salon is an award-winning performace series from Philadelphia. Founder Andrea Clearfield and Aspen co-curator Alya Howe assemble and host dynamic performances of music and art in the intimate setting of Justice Snow’s parlor.

PRELUDE: Andrea Clearfield, pianist will perform a Salon-style piano solo with Alya Howe, dancer/choreographer and friends

1.Tom Begich, a singer/songwriter and touring musician from Anchorage Alaska, will be performing music from his most recent CD “Traveling Through”

2. Eclectic Acoustic Americana with April Moon and Don Paine

3. Hap Harriman and Nelson Oldham will perform jazz/folk fusion

4. David and Arlyn Alderdice of Embodying Rhythm will explore the relationships between time, rhythm, groovin’, and human experience

5. Jimmy Byrne will perform “The Irish in Us” with songs from his heritage and help the audience evoke “a touch of the blarney” inside each one of us

6. 17 year-old artists Zachary Baker and Miles Petterson of “Fresh Cut…” will perform traditional and progressive mandolin music
