marimba concert time change – now 1pm – this Saturday

September 21, 2021 by ladyarlyn

Hello,

Happy Equinox! We hope that you get a moment to notice the beauty that is this time of year, as we begin to prepare for winter. We hope you get a moment to listen for your soul’s longings as the days begin to shorten. We hope that you will join us for our only live concert this year with our Embodying Rhythm Marimba Ensemble.

We want to let you know that the concert time for the Embodying Rhythm Marimba Ensemble performance has been moved a half hour earlier, so now we will be playing from 1:00-2:15pm this Saturday Sept. 25th at Paonia Town Park to accommodate all the Harvest Festival Performers for that day being moved outdoors into Town Park.

We hope to see you there! Happy Harvesting!

blessings,

Arlyn & David Alderdice

“We watch a sunlight dust dance,
and we try to be that lively,
but nobody knows what music those particles hear.

Each of us has a secret companion musician to dance to.
Unique rhythmic play, a motion in the street we alone know and hear.”

― Rumi, The Soul of Rumi: A New Collection of Ecstatic Poems
