Hello Dear Ones,
We hope that you are well!
We’re really looking forward to our concert with Mama Lingua and The Embodying Rhythm Collective on November 17th at the Grand Mesa Arts and Events Center and hope you’ll consider joining us for this unique musical journey – there are not so many tickets left, so if you’re wanting one, now would be a good time. Tickets and more information.
Women, do you want to feel more peace around the holidays? Do you want to feel more like the best versions of yourself? Join Arlyn for a four week online group starting November 28th at 9am mtn. Using gently facilitated movement, journaling practices and inquiry we will Step Out of Conditioning and Into Your Life. Book a call with Arlyn to talk about whether this might be a good fit for you, or just jump in if you are called, knowing that Arlyn can help you meet you where you’re at and help guide you gently on the path to where you’re going. Results from the participants include more choice, self-acceptance, a stronger mind-body connection, a safe space to feel what’s really going on, slowing down reactivity, and nourishment for the body through gentle movement and focused internal attention.
We hope to see you soon.
blessings,
Arlyn and David

We’re hoping to get a song or two together from these marimba classes to record later. Come to class or let us know if you or your child would like to participate. Class members are not required to participate in the album project, but it’s a very cool opportunity.
Q and A with Brené Brown on Gratitude
Question — “You’ve talked a lot about a surprising revelation in your research: that practicing gratitude is the key to joy. Why do you think this is?”
Answer — “Before the research, I’d assumed that joyful people were grateful people. But after interviewing thousands of people about their experiences of joy and gratitude, three patterns emerged:
1. Without exception, every person I interviewed who described living a joyful life or described themselves as joyful actively practiced gratitude and attributed their joyfulness to that practice.
2. Both joy and gratitude were described as spiritual practices that were bound to a belief in human interconnectedness and a power greater than us.
3. The difference between happiness and joy can be equated to the difference between a human emotion connected to circumstances and one that has a spiritual way of engaging with the world.”
